I worked with NREL and the major panel manufacturers in Europe, Japan and China,. Then the panel manufacturing industry outside of China collapsed.
Your anecdotal information is great, but we were working industry wide on panel & inverter reliability issues.
One of the issues w found was that a lot of manufacturers didn't expect to be around 25 years later. Manufacturing silicon based modules is a very straightforward process, but quality is of greatest importance. Having visited and sold to some of the biggest in the world we knew whose panels were the best and the worst. Been out for @ 6 years now, but there have been no great breakthroughs.
As to the rest, the facts are the facts.
To add to the list is power infrastructure. The day after California announced the end of ICE vehicle sales they also sent out a plea to stop charging EV's because it would crash the grid. There are no plans at present to build more power generation except wind and solar.
California is in the middle of a 7 year drought so far and the idiots in Sacramento refuse to add reservoirs and water storage.
The religion of AGW is highly destructive.
