The Lean Startup

Was sitting down to have a good look at PRA in the context of the Thred deal.

One big red flag for me is the discussion of "unified social messaging". The Lean Startup- one of the most influential startup books of the past 10 years, is basically a cautionary tale against unified social messaging. Hugely skilled team in Silicon Valley - that spent 10's of millions+ to discover no one really wants unified messaging (despite saying they do)...

I don't hold, won't be buying or doing any more research... but you might find this book helpful in thinking about the opportunity - And in any case it's a good read if you're interested in tech.
