Looks like QPN is leaving Ca(lifornia) in favour of getting into Ca(jun Country).
Yes the south Louisiana area is noted for Cajun culture.
So if the pickings were difficult and taking time to materialise (other companies being the Operators) in California can QPN produce results in Louisiana.
Well we have to hope so. Otherwise why up sticks after all this time and head off to a new exploration area unless the move is a "no-brainer".
Now it is useful to have a read through the relevant sections of the BZI prospectus (released on the ASX 12/05/2010)
BZI, if all is approved , will be rebranded Tango Petroleum Ltd.
Certainly in the section from page 19 - 23 (much of which is repeated but expanded in the later Independent Geologists report (pages 34 - 56) there are some indications of promising potential.
I was interested to see the comment made :
"BrainZ has secured the right to participate in the drilling of a well on the gas and condensate Amazon Prospect and they have also secured the option to participate in the drilling of a well on the Thames Prospect............The prospects are currently held by Caza Oil and Gas Inc (Caza) who are farming out to Pass Petroleum LLC (Pass) who are in turn farming part of their interest outto BrainZ"
So it not exactly clear yet who is going to be the Operator. Obviously not BZI. Presumably not Pass. So that only leaves Caza and QPN.
Could this be going to be QPN's moment of glory when it assumes "operatorship" of a drilling operation (with perhaps a lot of behind the scenes support from GGP.
Yeah well. Probably not. Guess it must be going to be Caza unless I have missed something ?
Looks like QPN is leaving Ca(lifornia) in favour of getting into...
