donhoop didn't slip out of anything and it's your idiotic insensitivity which is costing us not only money but credibility around the world as a sensible -as well as caring nation. The two are not mutually exclusive. We are not an isolated little island with dependencies on USA only. Our duties and moral/ethical responsibilities as good neighbours INCLUDES the whole planet Earth, not simply your own white anglo-saxon mates. We need to have a wise immigration policy as well as healthy, responsible policy for refugees. We do not have the right to turn healthy people into mental cases or treated them as if they've just entered Abu Grub. WE ARE NOT YANKY NEOCON BASTARDS! We are known for having brains and a heart.
