“I find it a little strange how pre-occupied the WPL threads are with ESG and woke policies. If we really believed in the financial strength of WPL, then what does it matter what other investors think”
I’m actually coming at this from two perspectives - I have a direct investment in WPL but I also belong to an industry fund that has, over time, been taken over by ESG zealots - such that they have completely dumped their WPL and other ‘fossil fuel’ holdings.
I’m sure I’m not alone having this dual interest so I think that gives me and others good reason to be frustrated with the ESG ‘movement’......and I’m just saying that for the first time this ESG positioning will actually show up in members returns (and won’t go unnoticed)
