fortunately for Australia, there had been no great corruption scandals at the national government level. I think governance is a lot stronger a the federal level than at the states' (for both Labor and coalition governments).
The issue that this federal Labor government will have to be on top of its job is the management of inflation, especially in the next 12 months or so. If it can do that, yes, we can expect quite a few terms of Labor government in Canberra.
