Not necessarily, with a Friday after close announcement, it gives people the entire weekend to digest the content, and the price sensitive announcement icon will also stay for the Monday as well, giving it more exposure. So I definitely wouldn't say it's disastrous at all.
What would be disastrous is if they never announce the results and slipped it into the back of the next 4C, which would never happen.
