Classical deflection tactics by Tinny and others. Talk about the HSU scandal as insignificant despite the fact it allegedly reaches right to the top levels of the Labor party.
Then imply that because scoundrels like Bond and Skaise broke the law and lost shareholders' money, it's ok for the HSU people to allegedly do illegal things with their members' funds. But the latter is insignificant anyway and only a political stunt by Abbott and the coalition.
When all else fails claim sole ownership of the moral high ground with the implication that anyone else is a red neck ignoramus who is to the right of Gengis Khan.
