Maybe it's pressure to come to the bargaining table
or they're in talks with someone else.

i'm thinking the same thing matchbox....

maybe the chinese company that wanted to take 80% of Myrtle for $12M, 18 months ago on the intial resource was indeed MMG ?

IM did state in the email i posted that -

"Obviously a JV is one of the funding options and would affect the work program going forward, since it would then be driven by the incoming JV partner."

which is a very similar scenario as to that which has occured on the WGR JV with MMG now taking the leading role.....

any which way my guess is IM's playing hardball on the whole deal with the time in waiting & the land grab last week....

End of 3rd Quarter next week, so hopefully some news to wind it up....
