I'm kinda joking but-
I think one of the attractions of lithium is that is the world's lightest metal. Although I concede that it probably makes no difference in the long run in if the thrust is enough but I would find it funny that an electric taxi in the future is run on a battery with the lightest metal to drop someone off to catch an aircraft powered with a heavier metal.
