This is cool, however still far from what we discussed in our debate: the current passenger flights to become at some point electric.
This is more like a prototype, lab developed hybrid between a car, a helicopter and a small plane. I admit it is really cool but not what I was thinking when I said "it will be a long time until the jet fuel will be replaced by batteries"; and I was referring to fuel for 747 type of planes.
I would bet these "toys" will never get the disruption that Tesla did and in 10 years from now will be still "experimental".
