There is surely a potential use for the 3D tubular Adapt product in bowel cancer surgery ....
At present to remove a tumor the surgeon cuts a whole section out of the bowel and re-joins the cut ends.
Why not cut out only the piece of bowel containing the tumor ... could be that it is not a full section of tube ... and sew into its place a piece of Adapt?? .... maybe like Vascucell ???
I know that the contractions which make food pass through is an issue .... but maybe???
