Everyone knows the benefits of silicon and Novonix is working on it too, but it is at least 7-8 yrs away, at best from commercialisation.

We have discussed this a number of times, silicon expands and contracts by 400% every time you charge and discharge the battery that leads to electric vehicle fires!

Until this problem is solved and proven at commercial scale, the only way to increase energy density and increase fast charging is with silicon infused graphite, which Novonix has been qualifying with Tesla via Panasonic for over 2 yrs now, as well as other battery manufacturers and car companies....
