    Yes but Cobalt is by far the rarer and more expensive and you save 30% of waste product so useing cheaper Nickel is possibly the lesser of an advantage. If you save 30% of waste maybe you can afford to use Cobalt in the cheaper batteries they use for the Chinese market. I mean at the end of the day all these batteries will be recycled so eventually we should achieve a steady state so useing cheaper materials is a short term view. I know the world thinks short term but maybe this new industry is one where a change is possible. Feral
