I'm intrigued what this will mean for the LME. If you run a market, trust is everything, and every dollar Tsingshan has been saved by the LME cancelling trades is a dollar they have denied to whoever the counterparty to the short is. Even after all the court cases are done this is a massive hit to LME's credibility.
