I think there are broadly two types of politicians, and most possess or display some level of narcissism.
So the two bros types.
The first type of politician is the one ride off into the sunset with their pensions and perks and live a more peaceful media-less life. Because they feel they done enough.
The second, is one that feels their political life/career isn’t over, they were robbed of their opportunity to govern or the job isn’t finished and want to continue to try to influence change based on what the believe is right.
There could be a third- the extreme narcissist who just wants the attention.
I’d put Julie in the first group and, giving them the benefit of doubt, Malcolm and Rudd in thoe second group.
