    I'd disagree with the assessment on Rudd and Murdoch, if their actions were taken in trying to bring about better outcomes or in support of programs or policies they would certainly fall under that category.

    But proxy-funding an independent to run against the politician you feel 'robbed' you of your leadership isnt that.

    Nor is attempting to steer public funding into a royal commission on a private broadcaster because you believe they cost you your job.

    News flash to both of them, their brilliance is limited in their ability to convey their messages to middle/majority of Australia. They came trotting in on the back of well run PR campaigns, but PR campaigns can only last so long once you're in the hot seat.

    If they were in category two then there is nothing stopping them running as independents... They wont, both are smart enough to know they can take shots and not receive them from the sidelines.
