You are talking about 2 families with a net wealth of probably close to $1B, I'm sure they have the scratch to create their own party.

Good on Gillard for keeping it classy. Her reputation will only grow, while the other two megalomaniacs will only continue to fall down the graces of history

Its cheaper and more cost effective to influence voter opinion and change from outside of politics. When large volumes of voter opinion change, political party policies change. Create a much more streamline force of change.
