    I agree and studies have shown that the psychology of selecting a leader isn't solely based on performance or policy.

    However, outside of appearance/stature etc what Albo is struggling to do is convey a message that he is a solution. What he is trying to replicate is the Tony Abbott, NO approach. This is provide resistance on every subject, without providing an answer.

    Problem being when you combine his stature/lack of appeal as a leader, and then his lack on solution or continuity on policy he's not having the cut through with voters.

    Of course the ALP know this, hence why we are currently going through a torrid period of mud slinging hoping something/some scandal sticks enough with the voters to effectively win by Stephen Bradbury method. That is being the only other person in the race
