The big problem with being older as I see it is,---- am I sick or is this the way an older person should feel

Doctors love the phrase "but you must remember you're not young anymore" to explain away a ache or pain

My doctor recently said to me when I had a problem "by insurance age standards you should be dead" so no sympathy there

I also need to get my hair cut about once a month or it blows in the breeze

It's all better than the alternative
