The Vanguard shareholding would relate to their underlying ETF's (and the increase in the % of the aussie index related to PPT post-PDL merge) and therefore will only change with the movement in this index %. They don't make calls as to whether PPT is a "buy" or "sell", just follow the index each week. Same for iShares/Blackrock and all other ETF's in the world linked to the index. Its getting crowded out there in this ETF space.
Agreed that a business update report to shareholders would be handy today/soon, together with some form of outlook statement for the year.
Hoping it is not of a "downgrade" nature. Market seems to think one is coming.
