He's not a nice person, but he's no dummy. IMO, he knows that the only payoff from IMU will be taken by him as salary which is why he's used so much of IMU's (and other companies of which he is chair) market capital to pay himself. He knew as much when he sold as many shares about which he could reasonably-make-up-a-b/s-tax-story a few months after the HER-Vaxx interim results (which I'm convinced he knew were not good enough to progress).
By all means believe in immune-oncology, but do yourself a favour and find a company with better, more ethical, people in charge than Leslie and Paul. It won't be hard ...
I know its difficult to sell something at 4c when you've seen it valued at 60c, but for a Phase I company that hasn't been able to complete a Phase 2 trial in over 10 years (and now isn't even progressing one), IMU is still insanely expensive.
