Yes there are many of us who can fully relate to your story.
I am deep under water. Rode it all the way up but didn't pull the sell trigger because of tax reasons - wait another few months and she'll be right mate.
Then a cagey buy at 40c (buying the dip lol) - that's the one that hurts the most at the moment.
I'm fortunate that financially I'm OK and the funds tied up in IMU won't make or break me.
I am I this to the conclusion now and can only hope and pray that the management team can pull a rabbit out of the hat for us.
