L.E, your logic is perfect. the error in my calcs has come from copying out of a text book i found and the example uses $100. lol. so i was lazy there. but otherwise everything is fine. as joel has said, trusts or smsf's are the way to hold your assets for more benefits however they come with tranfer problems if they aren't setup already. not to worry LE, as my account always says, having a big tax bill is a nice problem to have! haha!
