have a look at the temperature charts...the rate of change is accelerating....exponential growth...so there is not enough time to adapt.....its not that hard to understand. From the ERA5 C3S/ECMWF data, the sea surface temperatures at the end of February 2024 were 0.57C above the 1991-2020 average, sitting at a high of 21.09C.
