Leane. Who is saying they have done a wonderful job? Not me! I am just pointing out that it is easier to criticize a complex solution with one liners than it is to proffer a realistic alternative. Buy gold is not an alternative to the last 30 years of excesses in the world financial system, although it may be offer good profits to the few who try and protect themselves. That option is not available to the Fed who have to think and act in macro terms, knowing that their actions will determine the financial stability in the 21 century.
