I have been told that the Business Council is wanting the Government to remove the Franking Credits. I don't know about other self funded retirees but I rely on Franking Credits to provide the Mrs and I a decent income in retirement.
I believe the removal of Franking Credits will totally ruin the current situation and make retirement much more difficult.
I am interested to know if there has been any studies conducted on the possible impacts if Franking Credits were to be removed.
