If the ads were so "spot on" why didn't Palmer get a higher vote? After all he seemingly was positioning himself as a second Trump promising to make Australia great.
Actually the ads were bl....dy awful. Like fingernails being scraped on a blackboard.
As I said previously the amount of dollars spent does not necessarily equate with effectiveness. I worked in multinational marketing and advertising where big budgets were spent. The ads were tested inside out before they went on TV and elsewhere.
