Jessie, You are on the ball with that one.. All this talk of China and their buddies North Korea.. and not too much talk about just how much investment\relationships South Korea has in China..
I am in and out of South Korean Heavy industrial set-ups around China all the time and know just how many people they employ and the relationships that run deep with their Chinese counterparts.
Personally I can not see China putting up with Kim for much longer. He is a rich kid brought up in a bubble.. A KTV boy and if he was in China he would have disappeared already like a few others over the last month with the shake up that is going on.
Talk of Korea being run by the West is so way of the mark. If it comes to it, as been said .. unification of Korea is a Win/Win situation for China and Korea and for the world. they can get on with being a sovereign state that has historically got Chinese backgrounds. Thus will be closer to China in the longer term.
