It's fascinating to read what was posted in early 2011 on the CCC forum when the share price was peaking and exuberance was at the maximum, because for sure history will repeat again in different stocks and it's worthwhile knowing what to watch out for. CCC sure had many people believing in its story, and one wonders how things would have turned out differently if coal prices had remained high.
Here's a taste of what was being posted in early 2011 , when coal and the share price was booming
Share price booming - Exuberance
- "10c party here we come"
- Multi-bagger share price targets being debated
- "There's bots holding back the share price for accumulation, that's not legal"
Share price peaks
- Quarterly report comes out. It's not so great but excuses are made. "Decisions have been made for long term gain but short term cost"
- Doubts about quarterly are raised by someone. Poster is swarmed and beaten into submission. "You and your mates 150 years of coal experience is rubbish." "Why do you even post here when you have no position". "On ignore".
Share price starts falling
- "Selloff overdone"
- "Tree-shakers in action"
- "It's the bots and manipulators, don't get tricked"
- "It's a bargain I bought more"
- "Fundamentals are still fantastic"
