Simple minds are easily manipulated when promised a world of riches. Trump wasn't smart enough to have an original thought, but he did a splendid job of copying Hitler's play book - promise the peasants a change of fortune and they will follow like a mongrel dog. But like Hitler his promises were empty and his (Trumps) only accomplishments were death, destruction and the vilification of any who opposed him.
