I jumped out of AVZ late last year and made a handy profit in the process - which I re-invested into my existing holding in CLA.

The AVZ SP has been in the doldrums ever since- perhaps because they sold so cheaply to a Chinese investor too early in the development process- who knows.I feel for these guys as they are sitting on probably the largest lithium deposit in the world, but until the infrastructure is upgraded, and they can overcome the perception of the problems of working in the DRC, their SP may not be moving too fast upwards.

The better lithium player is Birimiam (ASX.BGS) who are not in DRC, have available infrastructure and seem ready to start production within the next 1-2 years. It will only be the mines that can up and running in the next few years who will be the winers here.The same applies to CLA, with the company's BB predicting cobalt production commencing by 2020.Now that's how you keep the SP rising!
