I bought on the basis of the repeated recommendation of repeated buy signals by blind Buffettesque advisors and brokers. Think they meant Jimmy and not Warren.
Only when I started to own did my confidence wane .
If anyone can suggest a SUCCESSFUL strategy to bypass the 2 then you have the credentials to run the company profitably, something I don't think the incumbent can.
Tell the duopoly to get stuffed. Only sell through other outlets - oops most servos owned by them etc etc. CCL do not have sufficient distribution outlets to play this sort of brinkmanship.
Organizing a strategic review is just going to go part way - to deal with the real issue will need the destruction of the duopoly - fat chance - hence reluctantly got out, thankfully before the recent bath.
