i don't want me be coming across so negative here, but while we could have had worse news (dry hole) or (bop failure, hydrates issues) I still think this is bad news.


and the fact that they have proceeded with a suspension confirms my concerns.

its the materiality of extra costs to be incurred by far that worries me

we have already exceeded initial cost estimates, this only adds to that, and being such a small co. In terms of MC with low avail funds, we could very well be skating on thin ice to afford the extra delays.

just to balance out the negativity, id say the suspension is so they have time to accurately consider the exact timeframe for delays and actual extra costs, as each additional million dollars is highly material for us.

perhaps give them time to sort out so extra funding if need be


But as I said, if the black gold is waiting patiently for us, then the extra delays means nothing to the long time farties
