Martin Bryant is a deranged psychopath who as investigators discovered, liked to prime his psychotic episodes with drugs and pornography ... a bad idea !!!

In fact, Bryant was a good case for help and understanding which he didn't get until it was too late for all concerned.

Bryant was "known" to police and had a disturbing psychiatric history ... sufficient for authorities to call for the removal of firearms registered and accordingly known to be in his possession.

The fact that this action was not taken was an issue at the subsequent trial.

I understand that these laws (help!!) now exist and people with known mental illnesses are to be denied access to firearms.

As we know, such laws won't prevent those inclined from acquiring anything by other means.

Accordingly, there is little to compare those I have outlined above and Martin Bryant but then we both know that ... (terrorists claiming to be deranged psychopaths won't work either) nice try though ... lol

Now if you want to compare Bryant and Saddam ... that is another story ... lol
