    I don't understand what you guys are so worried about.. Oxiana and Zinifex are both great businesses, there is nothing *fundamentally* wrong with them.

    Zinc, nickel, lead and silver prices are still well above long-term averages and will be very profitable for the company.

    If you check out Zinifex's development profile @ http://www.zinifex.com.au/what_we_do/developmentProjects.aspx ... you will see the Canadian developments like Izok and High lake both have copper, silver, zinc and gold.

    I'm sure whatever metal is being the most profitable for the company will the one given the most focus on production by management.

    Not all metals are going to be firing at once and there may be other times when copper plunges whilst Zinc rises and investors will be like "thank god we have zinc too".

    Buying opportunity if anything, I'd buy right now if I had spare cash, I'm optimistic about this merger going forward.
