Probably similar but not so gloomy for Geraldton.
Oakagee stopped the market in 2013. Lot of spec built new houses that nobody really wants. But the inner city and cheaper decent rentals are in demand. I think prices have bottomed and will be flat for 2014.

I bet when you told people you were buying in Balga they called you mad and told you scare stories of horror rentals, well done.

If you were real brave you would buy in Rangeway in Gero.
sort of like Roebourne meets mad max area.
