there was a great deal of complaining about manipulation and weak regulators on the way up, ASIC has always been a toothless tiger, look at how many successful insider trading prosecutions there have been.

I agree people need to take responsibility on the other hand it is clear regulators have completely let down the retail market...again. I'm not whinging because I have lost money, I've had an excellent year but that doesn't mean people shouldn't complain, do you think regulators have performed well? I think we deserve a lot better. Unfortunately it takes crises to create change.
