Does the movement of shares explain the health of the countries? Would you rather
1) live in US living in houses with negative equity..unemployment rate of 9%..and need to buy health insurance..the only positive news is Doe is doing a bit better than ASX..
or
2) Live in Australia with 5% unemployment, more stable housing market..with health cover (need to pay gap)
Just because ASX index is not going anyway doesn't mean our economic or goverment is bad..Too many people don't hold shares are living happyly here and not moving to US or Europe..BTW.Iam not a supporter of Labour Party..
