First Spire. Once operational in early May 2017 the whole game changes. SSG will have demonstrated that they can successfully deploy a narrowband nanosat network using proprietary communications software (very important and valuable) where everyone else is just talking about it and or in the case of Spire, failed at doing so. Spire in the USA was valued at usd266.67m at their last private equity capital raise of usd69.50m in June 2015. They used this extraordinary amount of money along with a team of more than 50 (please fact check me below) to put three nanosatellites into orbit also using the PSLV. The bad news for Spire is they HAVE NOT been able to get them to communicate with each other properly and to their ground station.
Most IMPORTANTLY SSG will have done this with a fraction of the CAPEX used by Spire or anyone else for that matte and in lighting speed.
Please remember the Meir is a current IDF serving jet-fighter (Reservist) and has worked with NASA and is Israel's TOP SPACE guy. Meidad is also a legend in the field of Space and Maya teaches Rocket Science to the next generation of space talent out there.
So if Spire had a usd266.67m valuation prior to launch of their first three nanosatellites then the SAS market cap at present even fully diluted with all the Founders escrow stock then it represents fair value.
The game changer here is that SSG will be swamped with funding offers to deploy their proposed 200 nanosatellite network and as we speak Meir and Meidad are in the USA with the Virgin Galactic CEO and his senior staff promoting to the people who understand what is going on and have the money to fund. Why is Virgin Galactic so important? They have their launch vehicle that can be launched from Virgin’s Boeing 747, which is essentially a mobile rocket launch platform. SSG needs to get their nanosatellite network into an Equatorial Orbit to reach 4 billion citizens of the planet Earth who don’t get to enjoy what we take for granted. Reliable telecommunications.
As far as Iridium goes, well let's just say that Board of Directors and their senior technical staff are like comparing a Blackberry of 2008 to the latest iPhone 8 about to be launched compared to what SSG is about to do.
But hey, you are entitled to your opinion, that's what makes the market what it is. For every trade in the market there is a willing seller and a willing buyer. The market works on Fear and Greed. When it comes to making money people just simply can't control their emotions. I will just sit back and let the next two major technology game changers called Meir & Meidad change the world like the Jobs, Gates and Chambers of this World before them. Believe it or not these guys had their critics as well.
On this I am simply a humble shareholder enjoying watching these guys make history and me a fortune....
