Been watching and waiting for volumes to lift closer to release of results, but the market has given me nothing.
This is such an interesting stock to me, on one hand you have the Qld class action and the federal govt's proposed strangulation of payday lending hanging over its head, but on the other side of that coin you have an expected improving of the UK business that was holding it under, you have impairments and costs factored into last years reports that wont be carried over now, and the big ticket item for me .... the dividends that were not paid last year are still sitting in the kitty in addition to whatever interim divvy may be on the cards for 1H.
I am not ruling out an interim and special dividend on this one, but would have expected the insto's to be sucking up the sell side if it was likely to be a divvy play. The slack daily volumes this week have me worried things may still be a bit crook.
