lol, don’t worry - I also aim for profit….and multibaggers. I can’t support my wife's gold obsession without profit.
Just that I’m sometimes more likely to invest in speculative things if they also have an ethical or potentially beneficial end product or result. But I’m no angel or moral crusader - just aware & concerned & try to offset my western lifestyle a tiny bit.
Things like medical research, environmental or renewable/alternative energy projects. Or things like estrella that might significantly benefit some other people. But I’m cautious - I don’t want to see another Ok Tedi.
All that is funded by long term past performance of holdings in reliable shit like banks & some tech etc - even bitcoin. Plus years of work. Still working a bit as I can’t get my head around doing stuffall.
And the 40 years has not been without some very bad investment decisions. Jeez, I still invest in some clangers.
