T4P, you are going to get sledged for this post. But, for what it is worth, I agree with you 100%. The last few weeks have been crazy and I am majorly p1ssed off with it. I'm luckily not leveraged and am still well up for the year, but I'm hurting anyway for those who have lost it all and for such stupid reasons - yeah BHP, AOE, TMR etc deserve punishment for their huge exposure to US subprime and their declining profits.
I've been thinking about market regulation. Not sure what is and isn't fair but I do think bot trading should be banned but I'm not sure how you could stop the big boys fishing for stop losses.
