I think that the people who write this rubbish without being in the slightest bit interested in understanding context, and complain about decades of Israeli abuse of Palestinians, were either asleep or ignorant when Arab states, the PLO and then Hamas harassed, invaded or terrorised Israeli citizens.
if they want to excuse the violence from those groups on the basis that it was somehow justified then they should try being consistent.
while there are issues in Israel with ultra orthodox and right wing groups having had a disproportionate influence on policies, that reflects a move to nationalism and right wing conservatism and religiosity across the world.
we live in a deeply troubled world where people respond without reason and without comprehension. It is not vastly different at one level from the circumstances before WW1 where a complex set of alliances and pursuit of perceived slights led to the war that was supposed to end all wars.
there appears to be a desire to blame Israel for everything and by extension to make it about Jews.
in the meantime some fail to understand that in their compassion for Palestinians they are effectively supporting a murderous bunch who vowed long ago to rid the world of Israel.
The idea proposed by some that Jews just ought to go back to where they came from (even those born in Israel over generations ) ignores the antisemitism that simmers beneath the surface in so many countries and is on display right now in parts of melbourne.
jews have never lived easily anywhere. Israel looked like a convenient solution. Britain, before the UN vote saw the dangers looming while the cast bulk of nations voted for the resolution. Maybe a silly solution to a Millenia long problem but regardless it was made.
the trouble was the Arab states surrounding Israel didn’t accept any rights for any Israeli state - a two state solution was rejected by them because they didn’t like the idea of sharing. It was land that hadn’t been theirs, in the sense of a country, for a very very long time if ever .
allowing sentiment to over ride comprehension is a disaster waiting to happen.
as a sideline there’s something vaguely weird about supporting so vehemently a group of people who hate Christian’s and Jews, who prefer sharia law and have repressive views about women and the LGBtQI community and think of their terrorist acts as jihad.
instead of getting on the back of the Israelis alone they might consider a more rational solution to what has now become an appalling situation and see which group is more amenable to reason.

Absolute BS.
Israel has been on a land-grab since 1914- ironically before even their holocaust, relying on the British Empire which
subsequently failed at Singapore.
Israel is man-made at the expense of the existing Palestinian Jews/Christians/Arabs who lived in Peace together.
