the meaning of immortality, page-2

I was wondering if any would like to contribute and try in establishing, if we are indeed immortal beings or perhaps not.

There are 2 opinions.
One from Jehovah.

(Genesis 2:17) But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.”
The other from Satan (Revelation 12:9).

(Genesis 3:4) At this the serpent said to the woman: “You certainly will not die.
Most religions side with Satan by claiming that after their body dies, they will continue to live in the spirit realm.
The Scriptures on the other hand teach :
The dead do not see or hear or think.—Ecclesiastes 9:5.
The dead are at rest; they do not suffer.—John 11:11.
We die because we inherited sin from Adam.—Romans 5:12
