No question, Heraclitus, these types of threads do provide considerable humour, and if that sounds condescending you'd be dead right: it couldn't sound anything else given the title of the thread.

That said, this thread is of a slightly different nature than many others of similar ilk
That's chiefly because this thread demonstrates evidence of original thought.
That's quite different from others that quote large slabs of the hate-filled old testament, or the misogynistic Paul, who no one liked wherever he travelled..
As though the bible has any meaning at all, which of course it doesn't, beyond filling the emptiness inside many xtians.
