    You realise her own office approved the location of the tailings dam? and that location was selected after years of consultation and engagement with both local residents and indigenous groups.

    Again, HER OWN OFFICE approved this location. The section 10 is based on whispers from a non-recognised group, to the dismay of local indigenous that approved the mine.

    You just don't 'oh move the tailings dam a few feet to the right and you're sweet'. Any change to the plan necessitates a complete revisit of the entire project and you go back to the start of the approval process again, which can take a decade. With potential for this stunt by Plibersek to be pulled again.

    She doesn't understand investment or the sovereign risk she has showcased in this country. The entire planning and approval process means nothing if it can be shot after the finish line by a spectator that wont even say what for. What company or individual is going to invest millions of dollars to plan and design a project unless the approval process is clear and transparent?
