Cryptos presented the greatest threat to the money manipulators there ever was. They have to be destroyed in the public minds as unreliable, so the technology can be subverted, before being coopted into their control with legislative shackles and added to their armoury of methods. Having then seized as much as was feasible over the next 3 years while plans were cemented, without causing too great an identifiable rise and whilst still feeding the jitters via propaganda and fake social media posts, the perps set out on the Great Trashing, driving cryptos to the unbelievable heights we all have seen, making fortunes and setting up many for losses they'll never recover, with the aim of destroying all public faith in "unregulated entities".
