Ronsterm - I don't think you get what I was pointing to or the point he was trying to make. It's not "you'll get worse unless" it's providing sound reason why these extremist factions are on the increase.
Despite what many on this website believe there are indeed many beautiful muslim people out there but they are clouded by this stereotype even though that sterotype is by far the minority. You bottle people especially youths into these type of backyard plays it's the extremists dream to have this position where they can guide others in their ways.
A lot of the stuff the anti-muslims rattle off on hotcopper couldn't be further from the truth for the majority. I know quite a lot of muslims through extended family and they are honestly some of the most peaceful, beautiful people I know. Although while many are devout muslims they are not from these extremist arms - women don't wear anything on their head or covering their face but they will still dress modestly - unlike many Australian girls falling over drunk outside nightclubs on a Friday night and wearing skirts like a belt the womens modest attire will be respectful ie they wont wear skirts or dresses much above the knee, they wont hang their boobs out to the world or blurt every curse word imaginable out in a drunken binge.
HotCopper opinion poll is far to focussed on the extremist countries and then assuming that is a representation of the religion - sure in those countries it might be heavily weighted through law but it's plain wrong to class everybody under that banner.
