Hello Isladar,
I am basing this on new replacement value and have discussed this with the company to verify. Fairly basic stuff, to build a new mill with 3 - 3.3MtPA capacity would cost about $250M.
You have to realize however that the mill is not brand new and therefore this does not reflect current NGF value specifically. There may be a formula for valuing this, unknown to me. I look at the mill performance however and it is fantastic - a factor for NGF to be proud of. It is currently doing the job of a new mill and will require more capital to maintain this due to the age. A great deal has been spent to renew sections already - right from guard rails and up from there.
Your investment relies on continued performance of the mill and management. Track record indicates you are on the right track over time subject to the unrelated fluctuations in share price and your own timing in and out.
Improvement in performance of the gold field they control is there for the harvest and will take time. I wait with interest and would sincerely value it if Talentless would post a little about what he knows???
The Boulder-Lefroy Fault is one of the most prolific on the planet, Paddo sits on top of it. The other regional faults are also highly important, so much to discover at depth and now that modern technology has refined the science of discovery I trust the new financial freedom at NGF can yield significant results.
Thank you for the question, just playing a bit on Sunday night looking through some threads and posts. Wishing everybody luck in this market I hope your knowledge is up to speed - some of the most trying conditions I have ever experienced in the markets at present.
Take care all,
CW
